Resonance tube is used to investigate sound wave on open tube and closed tube, it is also used to observe standing wave inside the tube.

A loudspeaker which is connected to an audio generator produces stable wave pattern with changeable sound frequencies.

A Sound Meter Level is included to observe node and anti-node position of wave in resonance state. By connecting the microphone to an osclilloscope, wave pattern is easier and better to observed. Sound wave that can not be seen using visible light, can be displayed on an oscilloscope screen.
