On October 18, 2014 Pudak Scientific held the Training of Science and Mathematics Educational Aids Development in Pudak Training Center, Gedebage - Bandung. 14 participants attended the training came from Cilegon, Jakarta, and Bandung. The main speaker of this training was Drs. H. Eka Fitrajaya Rahman, M.T., a lecturer of the Computer Science Education of the Mathematics and Science Faculty of UPI - Bandung.

This training was begun by the speaker’s explanation of Kurikulum 2013 and scientific approach. In this session participants asked various question to the speaker, which reflected the participants’ enthusiasm to this training. In this occasion, the speaker were also emphasized about the important of educational aids in helping the learning process in the schools, because it can enhance student’s motivation to be more enthusiastic in the learning activities.

This training was also involved experiment activities that include:

• Derivative of triangle area formula by using the triangle area model
• Derivative of circle area formula by using the circle area model
• Derivative of Pythagoras formula by using the Pythagoras model
• Observing a burning candle
• Crushing a can
• Making of natural coloring
• Hang a hammer on a table
• Making a simple mosquito spray
• Magic egg
• Burning money
• Changing tea to clear water
• Creating a secret letter

Most of these experiments are using the materials that are common in everyday life. Therefore, teachers participated in this training would be able to immediately and easily apply these experiments in their school.

At the end of the session, Pudak's Team gave away prizes to the group which obtain highest points and to participants who were able to correctly answer questions.
