On April 16, 2016, Pudak Scientific, cooperated with Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Banjarmasin had held the Workshop of Laboratory Management, Basic Level at Pudak Training Center in Bandung. This location was chosen because it was considered to have more facilities required for the workshop

The participants for this workshop were 18 students of the magister program of Universitas Lambung Mangkurat and five lecturers. Dr. Yunita, M.Pd., a lecturer of Chemistry Education Department of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati, Bandung was the main speaker for this workshop. She emphasized about the importance of the basic knowledge of school’s science laboratory, particularly for science teachers, the laboratory user.

After lunch break, this event was continued with factory visit to see our production activities. After that, participants were invited to have some science experiments, which was the session anticipated by participants. The experiments included:

• Solution making
• Observation of leaf’s stomata
• Insect’s respiration
• Basic measurement by calipers and screw micrometer
• Power supply test

Through this workshop, Pudak Scientific - as the pioneer of educational aids manufacturer in Indonesia - wished to be able to continuously give contribution for the improvement of teachers and future for a better Indonesian education.
