On May 28, 2016, Pudak Scientific held the first Workshop of Physics Capita Selecta that discuss about the capita selecta of senior high school physics. The purpose of this workshop was to improve teachers’ and laboratory assistants’ competence in guiding physics experiments in senior high school. This workshop was held at Pudak Training Center in Gedebage, Banding. This location was chosen because Pudak Training Center has the facilities required for this workshop.

Participants from West Java, Central Java, and East Java were laboratory assistants and senior teachers. This workshop emphasized the importance of physics experiment in improving learning quality and the tips and tricks in doing physics experiments.

The physics experiments conducted in this workshop included:

• Mechanical experiment (impact and energy conversion)
• Electrical experiment (serial parallel circuit and oscilloscope analysis) 
• Optical experiment  (diffraction grating, characteristic of concave mirror, and light reflection on parallel plant)
• Wave experiment (Melde and ripple tank)

Through this workshop, Pudak Scientific, the pioneer of educational aids manufacturer in Indonesia, wishes to continuously involved in improving teachers and future teachers for the better quality of Indonesian education.
