In order to realize the commitment to actively involved in improving Indonesian education quality, on February 12, 2017, Pudak Scientific held the Workshop of Science Games for teachers of elementary school up to high school and interested public.

This workshop began with the main lecture conveyed by Drs. Ali Kusrijadi, M.Si. He also demonstrated some science games that astonished participants. One of the science games demonstrated was the blue bottle experiment. In this game, he made a solution with methylene blue added. When the bottle was shaken the solution turned blue, and turned colorless when was not shaken. 

After break and lunch, participants were guided by Pudak Scientific’s technical support staff to visit Pudak Scientific’s factory and see the production process of educational aids products. After that, workshop was continued by experiment session in the science workshop room in Pudak Scientific Training Center to practice some science games. Pudak Scientific’s instructors – Mr. Kiki Kumiadi Y. K, S.Si for physics, Mr. Gery Fireliana, S.Pd for chemistry, and Mr. M. Ikhsan Pahlawan, S.Pd for biology – thoroughly explained all science games practiced, thus it can be applied properly in science class in school.   

Participants were very enthusiastic in following this workshop until it ended at 17.00 western Indonesian time. Through this workshop, participants obtained new useful knowledge to explore science learning by fun ways and methods that will motivate and attract students to learn science in class. We hope this workshop can be a means to improve educators’ competence that will improve Indonesian education.
